Purpose

Submit for another person using the route that supports representatives and make a truthful authority declaration.

Applicable policy and verification date

Google permits the affected person or a representative to start a personal-content request. Results about you directs requests for someone else to the detailed form and warns that a representative’s request through their own Results about you account may be denied. Verified 2026-10-17. (Overview; Results about you)

Audience

Parents, guardians, lawyers, reputation managers, and other people actually authorized by the affected person.

Before you begin

Confirm the affected person’s instructions, the scope of authority, and the contact address that will receive Google correspondence. Do not submit if authority is uncertain.

Prerequisites

  • Affected person identified.
  • Permission or legal authority to act.
  • Evidence belongs to that person.
  • Detailed form selected rather than the representative’s Results about you account.

Required inputs and evidence

Maintain a record of the representative’s name, role, affected person, authorization date, scope, and safe contact channel. Keep proof of authority only when necessary. The detailed form’s confirmation requires the submitter to state that they are affected or authorized.

Procedure

  1. Obtain authorization before collecting or submitting personal data.
  2. Agree on the exact URLs, policy category, and information Google may receive.
  3. Prepare a redacted evidence log and document the representative relationship.
  4. Open the detailed request form; do not use the representative’s own Results about you account.
  5. Enter the affected person’s information in fields referring to the subject and the representative’s details in submitter/contact fields.
  6. Provide only accurate requested evidence.
  7. Read the authority confirmation, submit only if it is true, and retain the confirmation.
  8. Route follow-up questions to the person authorized to answer them.

Expected result

Google reviews the request for the affected person and communicates through the submitted contact channel. Authorization permits submission; it does not change eligibility or determine approval.

Next steps

Use Request status and keep the affected person informed of requests for more information and final action.

Troubleshooting and exceptions

  • A service relationship does not automatically prove authority; record the authorization.
  • Do not enter the representative’s personal information as if it were the exposed information.
  • For European data-protection delisting, Google also permits representatives who can confirm legal authorization; use the applicable legal form separately.
